The 13th Annual Consumer Rights Litigation Conference
Boston, November 5-8, 2004
This is THE single best conference on consumer rights litigation. It's an invaluable
conference for consumer advocates from all types of practices — private
lawyers, legal services, government, nonprofit organizations, and others. Special
opportunities to explore this growing area of practice will be available for
those new to consumer law. It’s a place for experienced consumer lawyers
to learn new areas and approaches and recharge their engines. A large group
of experienced consumer lawyers make this an annual event. Special tracks and
mini-conferences are designed for practitioners new to consumer law.
The National Association of Consumer Advocates (www.NACA.net)
cosponsors the conference and holds its annual meeting at the conference hotel.
NACA’s annual media and advocates awards and the National Consumer Law
Center’s annual Vern Countryman Award are given during the conference.
An annual Class Action Symposium is held Sunday evening after the main conference
and on Monday. The conference is not open to businesses or their representatives,
who may find the Financial Services Seminar of the Practicing Law Institute
(www.pli.edu) a good choice.
