Sponsored by:
The National Consumer Law Center
The National Association of Consumer Advocates
The third annual Fair Debt Collection Practices Training Conference will be held Feb. 25 - 26, 2006 at the Capitol Place Hotel, Austin, Texas. The two day training is an intensive, introductory training targeted at private lawyers wanting to add fair debt litigation to their practice. This training also has gotten high ratings from legal services lawyers who litigate for abused consumers, consumer bankruptcy attorneys, and assistant attorneys general. The training is limited to legal services lawyers, assistant attorneys general, and members of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) and NACBA. Go to www.naca.net to apply for NACA membership.
The training will be at the Capitol Place Hotel which was the Crown Plaza Austin until late January when it was purchased. The hotel is a first class hotel with sophisticated meeting space in the heart of the state's capital city. The sights and sounds that distinguish Austin as the "Live Music Capitol of the World" are just 1/2 block away in the legendary Sixth Street Entertainment District. Late February is usually springtime in Austin with average highs in the sixties.
The training is cosponsored by the National Consumer Law Center and NACA. Space at the conference is limited so register early! There is an excellent lineup of speakers, and it should be another great conference!
